The electrical engineer rotates through various disciplines alternating between in-house engineering projects and short duration field engineering/maintenance and service projects with up to 50% travel.
Electrical Engineers will train and work on projects such as but not limited to:
PLC Programming
Debug of Systems
Field Service Repair - Industrial Electrical and mechanical inclined equipment, Water Systems, Material handling equipment and Preventative maintenance.
Control System Architecture/Concept Design
I/O design and Electrical Wiring Design
Electrical Cabinet and Systems Layout
Project Management
Printed Circuit Board Design
Transformer Design
Load computation
Modeling and Simulation of Electric Power Circuits
C Programming
Embedded Systems
Characterization of Systems Specifications
In-house Product Test
In-house Repair of customer goods
Qualifications:
BSEE or Associate Degree with equivalent experience required
Familiarity with working on high voltage and high power circuits a plus
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
Must Know how to use Oscilloscope, Meters, High Voltage Tester.
Must have good technical writing and oral communication skills.
Must love to travel, up to 50%
Electromechanical Knowledge and Induction or heat treating experience a big plus
Knowledge of and experience with PLC's and troubleshooting a plus
Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting Motor controls and Drives a plus
Knowledge of and experience with PC troubleshooting a plus
