Essential Functions
  • Plan and prepare production schedules for PDX Roasting and Production teams to ensure that demand is met while maintaining efficient flow of work and minimal waste

  • Create production plan in Microsoft D365 (Stumptown's ERP) and navigate within the ERP to find information

  • Manage capacity planning requirements for the roasting/manufacturing network, with consideration to business supply needs, pipeline builds, and seasonal changes

  • Define and utilize best practices to ensure accurate and efficient production of goods

  • Develop and implement production planning policies, procedures, tools, and technology

  • Ensure seamless flow of information and fully integrated approach to delivering key metrics regarding Customer Service, Inventory, and Costs

  • Set clear performance standards to hold people accountable for results, deliver customer service goals, optimize inventory investments, and meet production requirements, safety stock targets, and quality improvement goals

  • Build cross-functional and cross-departmental support across Operations functions, fostering overall team effectiveness

  • Develop and manage projects to deliver continuous improvement in KPI's

  • Use Excel and Google Sheets to manipulate and organize data

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Planning, Business, or equivalent experience is required

  • A minimum of three (3) years of overall business experience is required

  • Experience with ERP (such as NetSuite or D365) & Advanced Planning Systems (such as SAP-APO) is preferred

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel proficiency preferred for data manipulation, trend analysis and integrating data from different sources.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Familiarity with relevant legislation - e.g. FDA, GMP, SQF, and ISO preferred

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence a variety of audiences, up, down and across.

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and hours as needed, including occasional weekends, evenings and early mornings.

Supervisory responsibilities
  • No direct people management responsibilities

  • Acts as a member of the PDX Operations Team

Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit continuously at a computer

  • Standing - ability to stand for long periods

Work Environment
  • Work will include time in both an office and warehouse/dock environment. Temperatures will fluctuate based on weather.
