We are a privately-held independent metal fabrication company that produces components used in a wide range of industries. Our goal is to provide products and services that meet our customers’ needs in a timely fashion with the highest level of quality and value.

Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department.


Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Sort emails for the HR department
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including submitting online job postings, screening phone calls to potential candidates and scheduling in-person interviews
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Assist in hiring, new employee on-boarding and orientation
  • Compile and update employee database and records
  • Participate in the safety committee and OSHA compliance
  • Ensure compliance with any local, state, and federal laws and regulations, creating or updating policies and procedures and enforcing their applications within the company
  • Assist in planning and coordinating special events and recognition programs for employees
  • Create, send and post internal communications
  • Provide administrative assistance to management

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field
  • Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
  • Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent time-management skills
Education and Experience:
 
  • High school graduate required; Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field a plus
  • 1-3 years human resources experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems a plus
