Our commitment is unwavering - delivering accessible, high-quality and comprehensive care in a community based setting. As we continue to thrive and expand, we are searching for a dynamic and compassionate leader to step into the role of System Physician Executive (SPE) for our Cancer Institute (CI).

The opportunity

This isn't just a job - it's a pivotal role at the forefront of building a comprehensive cancer program within our innovative healthcare system. As the primary architect of change, you will wield the influence, empathy, and expertise to reshape the trajectory of cancer care across the continuum. Your energy and vision will be the catalyst for driving opportunities that elevate the quality, reputation, and capabilities of the CI and its cancer service lines. From advancing consistency in practice to leveraging research and genomics, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, ultimately delivering outstanding patient care.

Your leadership

Reporting directly to the system presidents, as the SPE, you will apply your leadership across all geographic locations of the Endeavor Health system, which includes eight acute care hospitals and multiple ambulatory sites. From Edward Hospital to Highland Park Hospital, your inspiration will span all corners of our thriving healthcare network.

Balancing responsibilities with a strategic approach, you'll have the opportunity for protected administrative time while continuing your cancer clinical practice. This unique balance ensures that you lead the overall Institute operations effectively while maintaining a hands-on connection with patient care - a true embodiment of leadership.

This is more than a career opportunity - it's an invitation to play a critical role in shaping the future of Endeavor Health. We are on a mission to become a destination center for patients' oncological needs, and we need individuals committed to advancing a systemwide vision to help everyone in our communities be their best for cancer treatment within a mission-driven setting.
