Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Division Manager is to plan and direct all aspects of the organization's divisional sales and manufacturing strategies, policies, objectives, and initiatives. The selected candidate will build on our existing Customer relationships and develop new business with large and small customers.

The Division Manager will report to the Senior Vice President of Coated Products and work out of our Citadel Division located in Aurora, IL.

Responsibilities

* Lead the development and implementation of the commercial strategy for the business. Clear communication of strategy, objectives, and performance expectations for volume pricing, mix, business development, and pipeline management.
* Oversee plant budget and maintain profitability of plant.
* Serve as a key face of the organization to external groups, including customers and the community. Strong customer relationships and industry-leading customer service are two of GBP's greatest strengths.
* Be a champion for the company's cultural core values.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing with increasing levels of responsibility and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a management role.
* Five or more years of experience in pressure sensitive or packaging preferred.
* Strong moral compass and integrity with a commitment to do the right thing.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills. This person must be highly relational with the ability to build effective, credible relationships.
* Must place the success of the company and team above personal need for recognition. Must be receptive to feedback and comfortable with direct, open communication.

Division Description

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a privately owned, diversified paper and packaging manufacturer. Founded in 1933, this Green Bay WI based company has over 4,600 team members and operates 41 manufacturing facilities in 17 states each with a dedication to innovative development of its products and forestry resources, with a focus on safety, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

The Coated Products Operations consists of three manufacturing plants, 4 Slitting and Distribution Centers, and a majority interest partnership in Mexico. The CPO manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Product capabilities include an expanded film line, as well as traditional paper, foil and thermal offerings.
