Pharmacy Technician - Part-time
Morrow County Hospital
Mount Gilead, Ohio

As a part time, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications, including intravenous medications; procuring drugs; charging patient accounts; inspecting drug storage areas; and cleaning the sterile compounding area. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to workMonday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00pm.

About the Facility: Morrow County Hospital has been providing healthcare services to the community since February 12, 1952. We are a 25-bed critical access hospital, and we are the community's primary healthcare facility offering a wide range of services. As a critical access hospital, Morrow County Hospital improves access to healthcare by keeping essential services local. We offer more than 20 specialties, including heart and vascular, orthopedics, surgery, emergency medicine, gynecology and more. We provide imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services at three locations as well as an urgent care and a medical specialty center. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is opened Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Experience in sterile compounding preferred
  • Ohio licensure as a certified pharmacy technician
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine
