Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our WOODLAND PRIME 400 facility.

This job is HYBRID.

FTE: 1.000000

Shift: 1st shift 7:30 am to 4 pm required to be onsite 1-2 days a week

Job Summary:
Prepares patient liability estimates for all services upon request or proactively by department protocol. Responds to telephone inquiries and provides knowledgeable and courteous assistance to all customers including patients, insurance payers, referring physicians, financial counselors and schedulers. Works to improve the patient experience by navigating customers through the revenue cycle providing price transparency, insurance coverage information and payment procedures. Connects patients with financial needs to the financial counselors.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 2 years prior experience as a scheduler, registrar or financial counselor in a hospital or clinic setting is required.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

College degree is preferred.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy is preferred.

Advanced analytical and mathematic skills preferred.

Knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis codes and CPT procedure codes preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Experience using Microsoft Office products is preferred.

Experience with computerized billing, registration and scheduling is preferred.
