Business Job Title: Amazon Key Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Amazon Key Account Manager - North America, is responsible for positioning Broan-NuTone as category leaders in the Amazon marketplace They ensure we maintain and grow a strong share of voice while increasing the sales of Broan-NuTone products on amazon.com and amazon.ca. The role will serve as the organization's in-house Amazon expert. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Amazon merchandising, selling, advertising, and operations needed to reach sales and profitability objectives. Primary duties include creating and executing a profitable growth strategy, defining key metrics, and providing actionable report-outs, optimizing PDPs, and managing all advertising and promotional activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build relationship with regional and global Amazon Merchant and Advertising team to deliver annual sales and profit targets and establish short and long-term sales goals for the category.
  • Ensure best-in-class product launches. Collaborate cross functionally with brand marketing to help define go-to-market strategies from product concept to product launch through analysis and research to meet customer needs.
  • Manage all aspects of new product introductions including Pre-Sell, VINE, and Born to Run programs.
  • Establishes higher market shares by impacting customer's overall business, improving sell-through promotions, and online brand representation on existing customer platform.
  • Grow our share of voice MoM and YoY.
  • Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts. Tracks sales, targets, forecast and last year in relation to the Business Plan, daily. Communicates issues, or trends with Demand Planner.
  • Uses an analytical approach to sell by focusing on available data to help predict future performance trends.
  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits.
  • In collaboration with finance, marketing, operations, and analytics teams as well as Amazon global teams, configure, setup, and manage the Amazon performance metric tracking dashboards for global markets. Serve as the company's Amazon expert, providing regular business updates.
  • Prepares and uploads all National Promotions into Vendor Central for execution. Responds in a timely fashion to platform maintenance requirements. Drives sales results through self-serve selling opportunities.
  • Create, implement, and optimize Amazon Ads (Sponsored brands, Sponsored products, Sponsored Display) in Vendor Central to ensure maximum ROAS within approved budgets.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to identify and prepare new assortment selection for customer. Executes all elements of new model launch.
  • Work with the marketing teams to develop best in class PDP and A+ content for all applicable products. Verify that listing details, images and videos are accurate and up to date, and adjust as required.
  • Validates, prepares, submits all financial claims. Investigate all customer chargebacks and submit applicable case logs.
  • Oversee brand protection, parallel import, and collaborate with key stakeholders to remedy problems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the Amazon space, and continuously evaluate and make recommendations for improving the Amazon strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Amazon Account Management on the 1P side (vendor-central).
  • Deep understanding of Amazon strategies and related challenges.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Vendor and Seller central platforms.
  • Worked with Amazon directly.
  • Experience on the Amazon 3P side (seller-central).
  • Operational knowledge of distribution related to Amazon inventory in 1P setting.
