Job Description
Inventory Management Associate needed for a conract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Palm Bay, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing physical or administrative tasks supporting receiving, as well as responsible for the organization and maintenance of the stockroom inventory.
    Responsibilities for Receiving
  • Must receive all incoming material.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to material immediately to management.
  • Count and verify material against the purchase order or invoice.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment.
    Responsibilities for Stockroom
  • Organize and maintain stockroom inventory according to company procedures.
  • Pick and issue material to internal and external customers.
  • Assist in counting and verifying material in stockroom to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to material immediately to management.
    Requirements
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a stockroom or inventory control environment preferred.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team or individually.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures per company guidelines.
  • Must be able to stand for 10+ hrs. and can lift up to 40lbs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to use the applications Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • Must be able to work in other areas to help the business needs.
Employment Pre-requisites
The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, drug urinalysis, and verified compliance with Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.
