Geospatial Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Conduct research to identify traditional and non-traditional raster or vector sources for Geospatial Intelligent (GEOINT) analysis and production. Use GEOINT data science principles and associated competencies, and evaluate discovered data's structure, content, and attribution to determine suitability for GEOINT analysis and production. Observe data management best practice by ensuring rater or vector data are contained in geodatabases wherein features and attributes adhere to a defined schema that meets standards and policies. Extract, derive, or synthesize feature and attribute data conforming to National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) standards, USMC policies, and accepted best practices. Apply spatio-temporal reasoning, GEOINT processing and methodologies, and associated competencies to perform GEOINT analysis, characterize events, and discover relationships or trends in terrain and imagery analysis, littoral analysis, and human geography. Perform GEOINT analysis and present results in the form of datasets, cartographic products, and advanced visualizations, includiung web mapping and story maps. Apply cartographic principles and competencies to produce both hard and soft copy cartographic products that meet the applicable NSG policies and product specifications, USMC standards, and accepted best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with conducting geospatial analytic research and production

  • Experience with using GEOINT data science principles and associated competencies

  • Experience with writing intelligence reports that meet Intelligence Community Standards, including ICD 203, 206, or 208

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in the assigned subject matter and geographic areas

  • Ability to conduct research to identify traditional and non-traditional raster or vector sources for GEOINT analysis and production

  • Ability to evaluate discovered data's structure, content, and attribution to determine suitability for GEOINT analysis and production

  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
