TEMP TO HIRE 3rd shift Quality Assurance Tech needed for one of our Iola area clients. This is an excellent opportunity for the qualified candidate.

Will be auditing finished products and supplied parts for conformance to specifications. Will check orders, perform testing and provide customer required documentation. Will also assist customer inspectors and suppliers.

Hours are Monday-Thursday working 6:30pm - 5:00am

Essential duties

Inspect, measure and record results into the QAS electronic database

Assist with the final audit of product

Perform and record dimensional analysis on new and revised products

Perform and record studies on critical characteristics

Participate in studies

Create measurement programs for use in daily production

Demonstrated understanding of shop mathematics including algebra, geometry and trigonometry

Demonstrated understanding of blueprint reading and advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Experienced in the use of basic and advanced measuring equipment including vision measurement systems, micrometers, dial indicators, drop gages, pin gages, etc.

Ability to work with close tolerances

Associates Degree or equivalent two year college or technical schooling

OR three to six months related experience and/or training

OR equivalent combination of education and experience
