Job Description

As a Solutions Architect you will use Application and Cloud architecture expertise to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing

  • Design high-quality solutions to solve challenging business problems
  • Interact directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and goals
  • Drive solution discussions across many teams and stakeholders
  • Guide customers in selecting the best solutions and products to fit their needs
  • Mentor others to help them achieve their career goals
  • Produce design artifacts and documentation for solutions such ARDs and SDDs
  • Support business development activities, including presentations to architecture review boards, proposals, white papers, blog postings, and proof of concepts (POCs)
  • Work closely with cloud-native application architectures (PaaS, IaaS, microservices, containerization, serverless computing, API design

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).


Profile of Success

  • Over ten years of experience with Azure, Application Architecture, Node JS, .Net, C#, Rest APIs
  • Strong leadership and communication experience working with Developers and key stakeholders up, down and across the organization
  • In-depth understanding of clean architecture principles and patterns
  • Experience leading members of a development teams
  • Expert level experience designing, implementing and documenting scalable and highly-available solutions on a public cloud (Azure or AWS)
  • Ability and desire to keep up with changing industry trends

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with React, GraphQL, Hasura, Postgres
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and automation tools
  • Creating C4 diagrams
