The Program Administration Manager I shall be responsible for:

  1. Managing the implementation of program goals and objectives.
  2. May prepare budget proposals and recommendations and establishes budget control system for controlling expenditures; controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations; recommends equipment and resources for program.
  3. May manage project scope and timeline through formal change management processes May manages project issues and risks through standard issue/risk process
  4. May manage, select, train, evaluate and manage unit or department staff for effectiveness and efficiency.
  5. Performing need assessments, evaluating and analyzing individual program and overall unit or department effectiveness; implementing appropriate procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy to fulfill the unit or department and campus mission.
  6. Managing the development of internal systems and materials for delivery of programs and services.
  7. Providing technical advice, policy interpretation, and guidance for application of appropriate procedures to staff, students and administrators.
  8. Developing and facilitating or overseeing the development and facilitation of workshops, seminars and orientations.
  9. Developing information flyers, internal forms and various materials to facilitate unit or department programs and services. Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience. OR Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience. Master's Degree preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
