Position Summary:

The Business Process Manager will execute cross-functional process improvement initiatives across the organization while fostering a "people first" culture. The BPM will lead teams evaluation of existing processes, surface pain points, prioritize solutions, and establish a future state vision. They will lead implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives supported by robust change management and training plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • BPO Strategy Development: Collaborate with department heads, business process owners, and subject matter experts to gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business processes across the organization. Formulate a comprehensive business process optimization strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives and promote organizational well-being.
  • Current State Analysis and Evaluation: Effectively utilize Voice-of-Customer tools such as online surveys, journey maps, focus groups, etc. to gather customer requirements, assess current state, and identify pain points. Map current state business process architecture and overlay with system and data architecture to identify root cause issues.
  • Future State Vision: Develop future state process and RACI. Design new processes in accordance with best-in-class framework such as DFSS (Design for Six Sigma). Identify and evaluate technology solutions that enhance, streamline and automate business processes.
  • Process Implementation: Lead implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives ensuring cross-functional collaboration and on-time gap closure. Establish & execute robust a communication plan, change management and training plan to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.Ensure documentation related to process maps, changes, and SOPs are accurate and up to date and centrally stored.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements. Analyze and monitor implemented changes to business processes and adjust them as needed. Provide regular updates on process performance to senior leadership. Regularly review process metrics for end-to-end business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years business experience required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Business Process Management as a BA/BPM required.
  • Travel is 10% in North America.
  • At least 3 years of experience in CPG/food sector preferred.
  • PMP Certification, BPO Certification, and/or Yellow/Green Belt Certification preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end business processes and supporting systems (eg, Product Lifecycle Management, Source to Contract, Procure to Pay, Hire-to-Retire, etc).
  • Experience with various business process management tools such as Signavio, Visio, ARIS BPA, Bizagi, UiPath, Lucid.
  • Ability to train Project Managers and Business Analysts on business process methodologies and tools.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to thrive in unstructured and ambiguous environments, leveraging interpersonal and technical skills to optimize results.
  • Strong skill set to elicit the actual needs of stakeholders, analyze and resolve problems, and facilitate communication between organizational units.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in process design, optimization, and change management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Salary Base Range of $105,000 - $137,800 for Employees Located in California*
  • Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)

*The "base salary range" provided above is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The range provided is for California-based employees as Ventura Foods is required by California State Law to post pay rates. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography. Ventura Foods conducts regular reviews of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
