Job Description
The UCR Library is hiring an Evening Services Coordinator for the Orbach Science Library. The Evening Services Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision of staff and the monitoring of student employees, the preparation and processing of library bills, and providing assistance and administering public service functions and transactions to patrons at a UCR Library Circulation/Reserve Desk. Will be responsible for opening or closing the library facility, monitoring all Circulation/Reserve Desk operations, coordinating and resolving emergency situations with Library Security Services, and overseeing and managing the functional operation of the library in the evenings and on Sundays. Must be able to work Sunday-Thursday 3:15pm-12:15am during the academic year. Hours may vary based on business needs, finals week, summer, and intersession periods. Must be able to work flexible hours for staffing in back up situations, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position is designated as a Mandated Reporter and will be required to complete trainings and comply with CANRA. Must pass Hire Right background check.

The full salary range for the Evening Services Coordinator is $58,150.80 - $85,921.20 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $58,150.80 - $75,000. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
