The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Surety Programs Group (SPG) supports government and private sector management of complex safety, security, and reliability programs for high consequence operations. SPG delivers industry-leading, innovative, and value-added services such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains. Within SPG, the Systems Engineering and Fleet Operations (SEFO) subgroup provides support to the US Navy's Strategic Systems Programs' Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System, including direct support to the Transit Protection Program. The subgroup also provides functional and matrixed support to various other SPA customers. SPG has an urgent need for a Program Analyst to support these efforts.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will support the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs' Nuclear Weapons Surety Division by overseeing key aspects of program development and sustainment. The Analyst will assist with Branch-level alignment to validate existing programs and to develop new capabilities in response to emerging threats. The Analyst will integrate Command, adjacent branch, and external stakeholder priorities. They will foster relationships while working directly with a broad variety of government and industry organizations to understand both programmatic and operational risk. They will translate the client's intent into staff-actions, clearly defining roles and responsibilities. Additionally, as the APM, the Analyst will assist in supervising a team of ~3 personnel, providing leadership with a strong emphasis on team cohesion and culture. Furthermore, the Analyst will assist in ensuring overall quality assurance and client satisfaction while managing aspects of budget and funding execution.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington DC Pay Transparency Range: $135,000 - 145,000.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree.
  • Current DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with DoD procurement, design, development, construction, maintenance, employment or assessment of combat systems.
  • 11-15 years of strategic/operational/program-office planning experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience with U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs.
  • Experience with DoD Acquisitions and Contracting.
