Overview

The regional Human Resources Manager provides professional support for organizational business initiatives through effective execution of Human Resources programs & practices. This person manages regional HR staff and serves as a consultant in all aspects relating to sales, operations & regional mgmt. The focus of this position is strategic HR management including staffing, performance management, employee relations, compensation/benefits, training, & other HR programs, projects & initiatives.

Consult with both perspective clients and sales to evaluate transition and financial issues for new accounts-serve as a SME with direct client interface to facilitate the sales process; participate as key contributor to announcements to staff of client employees-serve as a conduit for information for transitioning client staff to CBPS

Responsibilities
    Participate in quarterly client/operations business reviews as the human resources subject matter expert; address client concerns relating to staffing, safety and operational excellence
  • Business Partner supporting company initiatives including client interaction, management development & implementations
  • Oversees the development and implementation of strategic regional recruitment and employment programs
  • Develop metrics to gauge employee satisfaction and present aggregate results along with action plans to improve satisfaction and productivity to strengthen client satisfaction and increase productivity
  • Communicates various Human Resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, programs & practices for region assigned
  • Implements objectives that reduce cost & drive revenue to the bottom line (i.e. WOTC, unemployment claim management)
  • Recommends new approaches, policies & procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department & services performed
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining the regional budget
  • Consulting with business partners to develop recruiting plans to address regional staffing needs; facilitate the process the onboarding process including criminal backgrounds and drug results, submission of contingent offer letter and documentation of new hires into the system.
  • Monitors and supports Corporate and regional programs through regional HR generalists, recruiters and trainers
  • Consult with Regional and Site operations team to develop succession plans including IDP programs
  • Serves as regional resource for HR policies and benefit issues
  • Responsible for keeping complete and accurate employee records for the region
  • Keeps abreast of federal and state employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current pertinent HR policies, procedures and practices for the responsible region
  • Conduct investigations of ER issues; provide direction on resolution at a strategic level to promote consistent business practices; while simultaneously mitigating risk to clients and CBPS
  • Engaged as subject matter expert to develop and execute site specific safety plans. Conduct accident investigations and recommend remedial measures
  • Acts as regional liaison for Corporate HR
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • 7 years HR overall
  • 4+ years HR Generalist experience
  • 3+ years recruiting experience
  • 3-4 years supervisory experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of management across all departments
  • Ability to handle difficult clients, employees and situations
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage under tight unreasonable deadlines
  • Ability to understand visual processes, interpret data and translate into written word
  • Ability to motivate, coach and train staff
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Advanced organizational, administrative, record keeping and time management skills
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude

  • Hybrid role-Tues/Wed in office days
