Job Description

Pisces USA is opening a new facility in Milwaukee WI and we are looking for a born leader to supervise the day to day operations of the warehouse. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be able to work autonomously, take initiative and use your commonsense. This is a FIRST SHIFT position, 8AM - 4.30PM.

We are a wholesale supplier of natural aquarium and reptile décor. Our products include beautiful driftwoods, rocks, gravels and sands from around the world, suppling to major retail chains. This means our warehouse carries out two functions - one being production, the other distribution, you will be overseeing both parts.

Your duties will include;

  • Train, mentor and coach new and existing staff members to grow and develop their skills
  • Carry out tasks related to inventory and stock management
  • Take responsibility of ensuring staff stay to their scheduled breaks and arrive and leave on time
  • Planning the optimal efficiency of work to human resources available
  • Monitoring productivity of team members to ensure that daily/weekly goals are met
  • Arrange and log maintenance and repair of departmental equipment
  • Maintain a safe workplace by following safety protocol
  • Keep product, workstations and warehouse clean and tidy, supervising clean up at end of every day

Qualities you possess;

  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • A 'lead by example' approach to ensure goals are met
  • Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with general safety standards, quality specifications, and governmental requirements
  • Strong ability to negotiate and resolve conflict by navigating confrontational situations to ensure all parties are treated with respect
  • 5+ years of warehouse operations experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
