Job Description
Job Title: Assembly, Test, and Shipping Technician
Company: Lakewood Instruments
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 pm; Monday – Friday)
Pay: $20-$22 per hour, depending upon experience

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Receive, process, organize, and store stockroom inventory.
  2. Assemble products using hand, pneumatic, and electric tools.
  3. Solder and wire components to electrical control panels.
  4. Perform final test and quality inspections for finished products to ensure specifications and QA standards.
  5. Pack and ship products after final test.
  6. Assist in customer support for order entry, basic troubleshooting, and applications support.
  7. Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively.
  8. Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  9. Providing insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications
  1. Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Must be reliable and work both collaboratively and independently.
  4. An electronics background is preferred.
  5. Experience with word, office, excel.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
