Position Summary

The Electrical Assembler constructs company products in accordance with applicable Bills of Material, blueprints, and assembly instructions. This position assembles and wires Cap Sealer and Corona Treater panels and cabinets according to wiring diagrams and keeps the Department Manager informed of sub-assembly and fabrication part requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Wire panel and power supplies, modifies if necessary and inspects parts prior to installation
  • Marks all wires as indicated on wiring diagrams
  • Applies thermal and anti-seize compounds according to established procedures
  • Wraps and anchors wire harnesses according to established procedures or special orders
  • Assembles and wires Cap Sealer panels and cabinets according to wiring and hosing instructions with special attention to hose length and hose camp accessibility
  • Installs fittings that ensure prevention of leaks and facilitates proper electrical clearances
  • Labels power supply cabinets and inspects cabinets for flaws prior to installing panels
  • Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED and six months of experience in a related environment.
  • Knowledge of general hand tool use and experience with proper soldering techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly diagrams.
  • Emphasizes quality of work demonstrated through inspection of completed products.
