Job Description

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level professional with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex infrastructure solutions. This role requires expertise in Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, LAN/WAN, and server management. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for Server, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, LAN/WAN, and server management and for overseeing all aspects of our infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, LAN, WAN, and server management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
  • Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8years of experience in a senior-level infrastructure engineering role.
  • Expertise in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including VMs, networking, storage, and security.
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory design, implementation, and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Group Policy management and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN technologies and devices.
  • Proven track record in server management, including virtualization, clustering, and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certifications such as MCSE, Azure Administrator, or CCNA are preferred.
