Position Description

Plans and executes internal audits of Modine's information systems and their supporting processes and technology in the operational and financial segments of the company. The primary objectives are to furnish the Board of Directors and executive management with confidence that the company's information systems are adequately protected, provide assurance on the integrity and reliability of information, and ensure compliance with the company's policies and legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Internal Audit leadership on projects and initiatives to help develop a world class audit function.
  • Conduct activities related to the performance of operational, financial and IT audits, and assume a lead role on individual audits, including planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and issuing audit reports.
  • Plan audits, including the development of audit programs, and assign responsibilities for execution of audits.
  • Manage department logistics, including the updating of audit methodology, the use of audit tools, and the annual risk assessment.
  • Manage, quality control, present and deliver internal audit and consulting-related risk management projects.
  • Lead special projects and ethics investigations as requested by management.
  • Develop value-added process improvements that can result in greater efficiency of operations by documenting business concerns, risks, root causes, and recommendations in writing for inclusion in the audit report.
  • Act as liaison with external auditors in order to assist with required tasks at quarter and year end, including Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
  • Help train and develop staff members in IT audit techniques and departmental procedures and protocols.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Valid passport or ability to acquire passport shortly after commencement of employment.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Internal Auditor preferred.
  • 4 years or more of IT audit experience, preferably with some manufacturing exposure.
  • Ability to schedule and manage time budgets of staff, as needed.
  • Experience and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to foster relationships with both external and internal customers.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp key business issues and identify value-added solutions to identified issues.
  • Prior Sarbanes-Oxley experience desired.
  • Experience with PC applications (Microsoft Office suite); experience with SAP, audit workflow, and data analytics software desired.
