Job Description
We are looking for an Induction Heating Setup Technician to work in our Induction Heating Laboratory.

This exciting opportunity is to work alongside a world class team in our Induction Process Engineering Center.  The candidate must be good with their hands will setup, run experiments, capture data, and document results in our knowledge management system.  The candidate will work alongside an expert with 25 years of experience who will guide in how to setup and produce successful results with our state-of-the-art induction heating equipment.

This is a tremendous opportunity for one interested in Metals Processing Technology.

Requirements:
Ability to stay on task while unsupervised.
Basic Electrical knowledge.
Good communication skills, written and verbal. 
Basic computer skills – typing, Excel, Word.

Strong reasoning skills.
Quick to learn.
Diligent.
Curious to learn new applications of heat treating and induction heating principles.
Willingness to ask questions, experiment and learn from mistakes.
Skills that are a plus:
Experience creating Process Documentation. 
Familiarity with metallurgy and metallurgical lab equipment
Experience with Induction Heat Treating, brazing or soldering a plus 
Knowledge of Basic induction coil design and manufacture a huge plus  
Knowledge of Metallurgical testing – hardness, case depth, etc a plus  
Experience with CAD and Solidworks drawings a huge plus 
Experience with machining and manufacturing a plus 
Strong 
Initiative a plus


Qualifications
Associates Degree with 2+ years of experience
