Job Description

$20 per hour + $5,000 First Year Sign-On Bonus

Shift Differential- $1.50/2nd shift and $3.00/3rd shift

Shifts: Must be able to work all 3 shifts as the shifts rotate

7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for blending and loading of bulk trailers, ensuring all final products meet customer specifications while following all Food Safety Policies and GMPs, and completing sanitation and IPM tasks.

Your responsibilities:

  • Must keep records of production and work activities, using both paper documents and computer entry.
  • Must keep work area clean and sanitary while running production.
  • Must keep a variety of processes going at the same time and be able to multitask.
  • Will be responsible for the quality of production output.
  • Must learn and execute basic equipment maintenance to improve production reliability.
  • Will be responsible for reworking product that does not meet a high level of quality expectations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Essential skills and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.
  • Must be willing and able to work any assigned shift and must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to effectively communicate with fellow team members and plant management.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer and able to learn new software for production.

Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Able to work in a dusty environment on occasion.
  • Able to work in hot and cold conditions on occasion.
  • Must be willing to perform elevated work.

Other considerations:

  • Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team.
  • Willing and able to work weekends, Holidays, 7-day weeks, and any shifts when needed.
  • Overtime is sometimes required during the week, weekend, and holidays. Due to the seasonality of business and volatility of market conditions, work hours can change suddenly.

Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.
