The Global Demand Center (GDC) team within the Cloud Marketing Group is leading the marketing transformation of Microsoft's largest and fastest growing commercial businesses. We are responsible for driving scaled marketing and sales experiences, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and innovating marketing & sales practices to deliver billions of dollars a year globally for all our commercial business solutions (Applications & Infrastructure, Business Applications, and Modern Workplace).The GDC Data Engineering group is on a mission to deliver connected data ecosystem, leveraging world-class Microsoft technology to enable scale, increase data agility, and unlock breakthrough insights. We build data platforms that power our analysts, data scientists, Machine Learning(ML) engineers and business users to discover insights and make decisions faster. We also enable the integration of our data platform with edge tools for sales and marketing teams that deliver personalized and relevant experiences to our customers and prospects. Our goal is to improve and transform the GDC data ecosystem and use product thinking for our data platforms. As a Senior Data Portfolio Program Manager you will guide the development and evolution of a coherent, organization-wide portfolio of data capabilities for Signal Flow initiatives, enabling responsive, high-quality data for the business. You will also manage the efforts to ensure the quality and flow of Marketing Leads for our Direct and Connected Sales and Marketing initiatives. As a Data Engineering team member, you will use your skills and creativity to solve problems and improve the value of data. You will be well-versed in Marketing Lead data products and Core Marketing domain data and use this knowledge to support operational and analytical workloads that rely on them.You are an experienced data professional with a passion for enabling the business with thoughtful, well designed data architecture.You possess a deep understanding of the data technologies landscape and stay up to date on industry knowledge and trends.You're an excellent communicator and can explain sophisticated concepts to non-technical audiences, keeping the customer in mind and translating business scenarios into extensible data capabilitiesMicrosoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Data Portfolio Program Manager, you will:Contribute to the end-to-end data architecture and data modeling for the GDC Data Platform to create leverage through connected data capabilitiesOwn the cross-DE data capabilities for Signal Flow and Lead Flow Quality (LFQ) initiatives.Coordinate with cross domain data owners to integrate, leverage, and enable access to data and ensure data handling and security requirements are understood and metCreate proof-of-concepts and pilots to support hypothesis testing, design, and optimization of data capabilities.Collaborate with Data Engineers, System Architects, Platform Engineers, and Program Managers to implement successful solutions.Create data quality and monitoring models for key end to end data flows to ensure data reliability and issue visibility and responsiveness.Maintain data capability roadmaps, engaging stakeholders across the organization and prioritizing areas of investmentInfluence and negotiate with partner stakeholders for cross-team dependencies impacting roadmapsDesign and implement data quality and monitoring models for key end to end data flows to ensure data reliability and manage issues for visibility and responsiveness.Drive data change management efforts to ensure seamless business continuity, adoption of new capabilities and transparency across engineering and analytics teams.Understand what is possible today vs. what requires additional investment and steer our customers to the right solutions based on the timeliness of their needs.OtherEmbody our culture and values
