Accounting Specialist

Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining and recording accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll records for mutiple locations in our Dallas martket. This includes but not limited to daily recording of customer invoices, vendor invoices, processing payroll, maintaining customer and vendor information across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

* Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll for designated business unit.

* Process customer payments by check, credit card, and EFT.

* Process vendor payments by check, credit card, and EFT.

* Receive, process, and reconcile statements.

* Prepare and record bank deposits.

* Generate and review monthly reports.

* Assist with preparation for annual audits.

* Assist Accounting Manager with monthly and annual financial closures.

* Compliant with internal accounting procedures.

* Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.

* Assist Accounting Manager with projects and tasks as needed.

* Perform administrative and other tasks as needed, assigned by Accounting Manager.

Education/Experience:

* 1-3 years of general accounting experience

* 1-3 years of experience working with payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

* Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
