Title Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Critical Care (MICU) Position Description: The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to medically manage complex patients within our 26-bed Medical ICU located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate has a passion for Critical Care medical management looking to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to providing direct patient care to patients in an ICU setting. Position Requirements:
Preferred Experience: Prior APP/RN Critical Care experience a plus! Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA Acute Care AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire, FCCS Course completion within first 6 months
Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
