Job Description

Colorectal Surgeon

  • Position: Colorectal Surgeon
  • Location: Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Skokie, and Swedish Hospital

What you will need:

  • License: IL Medical License or License Pending
  • Education: Fellowship trained in Colorectal Surgery
  • Certification: BC/BE American Board of Surgery

The candidate will join a team of 28 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 4 surgeons dedicated to colorectal surgery. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in minimally invasive, bariatric, critical care, and hepatobiliarysubspecialties. The division faculty oversees Residency and Fellowship Programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Teaching opportunities, academic appointment, and research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates. This position is open to junior attendings as well as established surgeons seeking leadership opportunities within the colorectal surgery subspecialty.
