Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Campus Administrator and Director of Health Services, this role provides direct supervision, training, and scheduling for Personal Attendants (C.N.A.s) while also offering managerial and service support in the absence of the Campus Administrator and/or Director of Health Services. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring operational compliance with state regulations for Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCACs).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and oversee Personal Attendants across Assisted Living and Attended Care Programs.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, training and community events.
  • Manage scheduling for all Personal Attendants, providing support for any scheduling challenges.
  • Offer direct service support as needed, assisting Health Staff with scheduling difficulties.
  • Report any pertinent events or occurrences to the Director of Health Services and/or Campus Administrator.
  • Uphold the philosophy, policies, and procedures of ProHealth Care Regency Senior Communities.
  • Ensure compliance with Residents Bill of Rights and maintain confidentiality of both residents and staff.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Director of Health Services and Campus Administrator regarding resident, family, and staff issues.
  • Complete Health Staff payroll in ADP and schedule resident services into the Scheduler Database Program.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assess and document any change to the resident status and needs.
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current and valid Wisconsin Nursing License with a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in geriatrics.
  • Licensed CNA or LPN with supervisory experience or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to comprehend written or verbal instructions.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong organizational and supervisory abilities, with experience in delegation and enforcing standards.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including the ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to discriminate colors, concentrate on fine detail, and perform manipulative skills.
  • Adequate vision, hearing, and speech clarity.
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach, twist, push, pull, squat, climb stairs, and bend.
  • Good reasoning, sound judgment, and genuine interest in the needs of the elderly population.

  • Note: This position may require additional hours beyond the standard work schedule, as needed.
