Overall Function: Motivated and compassionate individuals willing to carry out the services of the Individual Placement Supported Employment (IPS) program by assisting clients to obtain and maintain competitive employment within the community of Milwaukee County.
Job Description/Qualifications:
Ability to engage with clients, establish rapport and to work collaboratively toward the goal of competitive employment.
Assist clients in obtaining information about their benefits through benefit counseling (e.g., SSI, Medicaid, etc.)
Assist clients with workforce preparation (resume building, job group, dress for success, mock interviews, etc.)
Collaboratively working with other service providers and employers.
Must have a reliable insured vehicle.
Education: High School Diploma or associate degree and/or bachelor's degree in mental health, social services, or business is preferred.
