Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Adjust and operate press brakes to perform forming, notching, bending and punching operations on a variety of standard work where procedures are prescribed and standardized.

- COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS: • High School education.

- Basic knowledge of material characteristics.
- Ability in blue print reading and math.
- Ability to some instruments for exacting measurements.

- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle to and radii.

- Work may involve multiple pass operations for angle forming or compound radii.
- Proceed on work assignments with minimum of supervision.
- Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates.
- Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges.
- Work is under supervision and instruction given.
- Work is subject to process and final inspection.
- Other duties as instructed or directed by direct supervisor.
