Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Adjust and operate press brakes to perform forming, notching, bending and punching operations on a variety of standard work where procedures are prescribed and standardized.

 

 

    1. COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS: • High School education.
    • Basic knowledge of material characteristics.
    • Ability in blue print reading and math.
    • Ability to some instruments for exacting measurements.

 

 
    1. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle to and radii.
    • Work may involve multiple pass operations for angle forming or compound radii.
    • Proceed on work assignments with minimum of supervision.
    • Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates.
    • Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges.
    • Work is under supervision and instruction given.
    • Work is subject to process and final inspection.
    • Other duties as instructed or directed by direct supervisor.
