Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for supporting our URAC and ACHC dual-accredited Specialty Pharmacy patient management program, specialty medication procurement, and assist with implementing key strategic and operational initiatives to support Froedtert Specialty Pharmacy objectives and goals. The ideal candidate for this role is skilled in leadership, communication, time management, strategic thinking, independent problem solving, and collaboration.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Specialty Pharmacy Supervisor include but are not limited to:

  • Recruits/Hires/Trains staff as needed for a growing Specialty Pharmacy team
  • Supports Home Delivery Specialty Pharmacy preceptorship and learner rotations
  • Facilitates performance improvement and participates in report out of key quality and performance measures
  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance with accreditations and pharmacy laws and regulation
  • Collaborates and supports FHPS leadership to achieve various growth, quality, safety, and satisfaction goals related to our specialty pharmacy services
  • Promotes high quality clinical care, patient satisfaction and staff engagement and well being


Other information:

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy is required. Experience in supervision or management is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy or a PharmD. is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrates proficiencies in such areas as: patient education, mediation counseling, appropriate drug utilization, inventory control, pharmacy law, third party billing and computer systems.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Current WI state license as a Registered Pharmacist is required.
