Overview

NovaCare Prosthetics & Orthotics is seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist in Fond du Lac, WI

$20,000 Sign-On Bonus!

We are seeking a compassionate and driven ABC Certified full-time Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to provide exceptional patient care experiences. Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of prosthetic devices related to patients' needs as indicated by a physician. American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics required. Our highly trained and respected therapy team provides services that maximize functionality and promote the well-being of our patients. Our work environment offers a great opportunity to provide skilled care to our patients and grow within our Prosthetics and Orthotics division.

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Compensation: Starting at $80,000 and up (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patients' needs, as indicated by a physician. Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patient's need for orthotic/prosthetic services. Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. Provides on-call services, as necessary. Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university from a recognized Orthotics and Prosthetics school

American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics Prosthetics required!
