Tenure Track Faculty Opening in Computer Engineering - Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Northwestern University

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Northwestern University invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track position in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The search will focus primarily on candidates at the level of Assistant Professor, ideally starting on September 1, 2024.

Applicants must have completed, or will have completed by the start date, a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, and have demonstrated excellence in research within the broad area of computer engineering, particularly computer architecture. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to, sustainable computing, domain specific architectures for robotics, health and medical applications, and ML/AI, architectures for emerging computing fabrics, cloud computing, and architectures for security and privacy.
