• Will be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products, such as MTESC MTE, machine parts, and equipment using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
• This worker will weld metal parts together, using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes, perform related tasks such as cutting and grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts and clamps together components of fabricated metal products in preparation for welding.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain equipment and tooling to include welders, tools, tray rivet machines, and other associated welding and repair equipment and parts.
• Perform inspection of containers to identify necessary repairs.
• Retrieve defective containers identified by a Yellow Tag and relocate to Pre-Repair Inspection Area
• Determines repair part needs and retrieves repair spare parts from the secure Parts Cage/Bulk Parts Storage area.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver's license, applicable material handling equipment licenses.
• Must be able to read and comprehend all documentation pertaining to job performance, i.e., technical manuals, specifications.
