Job Description

Responsible for coordinating and directing personnel to assure adherence with all aspects of a quality system that supports the production of safe, high quality product within design limits compliance.

Responsible for performance coaching, development, and training of employees in quality standards and analysis.

Assures regulatory, company standards, and Quality Programs are in-place and implemented within a teamwork environment working 7/24.

Using SPC tools assist with process control, problem solving and process improvement.

Supports the continuous training, record keeping, and maintenance of the food safety and quality practices within the Plant.

Acts as point-of-contact, and through professional judgment in evaluation, suggests resolution to food safety and quality concerns, in the absence of the Quality Manager.

Support and promote food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment.

  • Scope: Focus is on the design and/or execution of strategies/programs/projects within area(s) of expertise
  • Influence: Significant influence and/or decision maker on the design of processes/programs/projects
  • Autonomy: Sets priorities independently with minimal direction and may direct the work of lower levels
  • Expertise: Advanced to Expert knowledge of concepts within area or discipline
  • Judgment/Decision Making: Often, within vague parameters
  • Problem Solving: Solves very complex problems in area of expertise

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
