Mechanical Design (Solidworks) 

Responsibilities:

• Generate CAD models & drawings for existing & new products and subcomponents
• Present design proposals to a technical team and participate in design reviews
• Coordinate development of designs with Engineering
• Create technical drawings for literature
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of drawings, bills of materials & documentation
• Hands-on build-up of concept prototypes for design review and functional proof-of-concept
• Creation and maintenance of material and component specifications

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in CAD Engineering, Drafting, or related field
• 3D CAD modeling capability –Solidworks preferred with 5+ year work experience
• Experience in programming with MasterCam (not required)
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems a plus
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and working knowledge of modeling and drafting practices
• Experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel.)
• Organized, with the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimum supervision
