Mount Mary College, Wisconsin’s oldest Catholic college for women is seeking an individual to contribute the realization of our mission through the role of Assistant Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement. Consistent with the mission of the College, the successful candidate will reflect a commitment to social justice and a deep understanding and appreciation for the Catholic intellectual tradition, and a commitment to the education for leadership of a diverse community of women.
The Assistant Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement will report directly to the Senior Director of Alumnae and Parent Engagement in the Institutional Advancement Division. The primary role of the Assistant Director will be to provide programs to carry out the continued transformational experience for alumnae, parents and benefactors. This individual will be charged with creating and promoting the ongoing enrichment and personal development priorities set forth by the Senior Director.
Create a partnership with the Mission and Identity office to offer spiritual development programming for alumnae, parents and benefactors.
Partner with advising and career development to provide career support to alumnae and engage our alumnae in providing students with internships and jobs.
Create a student ambassador program so that at every external event has appropriate representation of trained and prepared students welcoming our alumnae and telling their stories.
Build a close partnership with Marketing and Communication to develop and highlight the stories of our alumnae and benefactors contributions to the world.
Partner with academic affairs to design a continuous learning opportunity for alumnae to audit classes for personal enrichment through an “Alumnae in the Classroom” program.
Work with marketing and the IA graphic designer to promote programs to alumnae, parents and benefactors.
Design and execute with the Senior Director a new Alumnae Weekend experience
Bachelor degree in business, marketing, communications, education or related field
3 years experience in program planning preferred in a higher education setting
Team oriented/Customer focused/High energy
Availability to work some nights and weekends
