Job Description

Join the Dining team at our gorgeous Harwood Place Campus!  Responsibilities include meal preparation in accordance with established menus, standard recipes, and specialized diets.  Assures that all sanitation and food safety regulations are followed.  Supervision of the department in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Prepares and serves meals, including special events, according to standardized recipes, portions, correct food sanitation standards and plate garniture criteria.

 

     Associate Degree in Culinary Arts preferred

 

  •  Must have kitchen leadership experience in a fine dining environment, retirement community or health care facility, with knowledge and hands-on skill in meal production, baking, quality control standards

  •  Must have demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate with staff and clientele, foster a positive customer service approach and formulate appropriate judgment in organizing and completing assigned work

  • Must be highly professional in actions and appearance
