About WEA Trust Member Benefits:
WEA Trust Member Benefits has been helping Wisconsin public school employees achieve their financial goals for over 40 years by providing personal insurance and retirement and investment programs that are designed with unique qualities that set us apart from other commercial providers.
Member Benefits is an organization that prides itself on providing high-quality programs and outstanding customer service to Wisconsin public school employees and their families. Our corporate values are trust, integrity, commitment, passion, teamwork, positive attitude, compassion, and fun. We seek talented people who exemplify qualities that enhance our ability to work toward our vision of Every Member Financially Secure.
We operate as a trust that reinvests any profits back into programs that benefit participants. We have no shareholders. This allows us to focus on meeting the needs of those we serve with high quality products that are competitively priced rather than increasing profits.
Insurance that's close to home.
The WEA Trust has a long history of serving Wisconsinites. For more than 40 years, we've provided quality group insurance plans—with exceptional service at competitive prices—to Wisconsin public school employees and their families. And recently, we've extended our product offerings to state and public employees. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, the Trust offers health, dental, life, long-term disability, short-term disability, and long-term care insurance plans.
WEA Trust is home to a team of friendly and responsive professionals who not only know benefits, but who also live and work right here in Wisconsin. When you have questions or concerns, you'll receive prompt attention from our caring and knowledgeable staff. Plus, you'll enjoy talking to a live person when you call, and usually on the first ring!
Rated #1 Health Plan in Wisconsin
A deep-rooted commitment to customer service has helped make us the #1 choice of Wisconsin educators for the third year in a row. The Trust earned the highest health plan rating and customer service and claims processing scores in Wisconsin, according to the 2010 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) survey.
The Trust is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to putting member needs first. For every dollar we collect in health premiums, we pay back, on average, 93¢ in the form of benefits.
