CleanPower was started in Milwaukee in 1969 as Wisconsin’s first carpet cleaning company servicing only business clients. We learned quickly that these clients, primarily in offices, also needed consistently high quality daily cleaning of their facilities, and were often interested in hiring a contractor to perform these services. By 1972 CleanPower had shifted our efforts to full cleaning contracts, with carpet cleaning as an additional service.


Energetic employees, loyal customers, strong systems, and good luck have enabled CleanPower to open offices throughout southern and central Wisconsin:

In November of 2000, CleanPower merged with Marsden Bldg Maintenance, L.L.C. out of St. Paul, Minnesota. Marsden is a well-respected, regional janitorial contractor that shares common strategies with CleanPower. They are a privately held company and have provided commercial cleaning and building maintenance services since 1952. Areas of service include:

Both companies operate with a strong emphasis on customer service and excellent, well-trained employees. CleanPower operates in Wisconsin under the CleanPower name.
