optek was founded by the Danulat family in 1984 and established it’s headquarters in Essen, Germany. Since the beginning, optek has been primarily focused to the development, production, marketing and support of high performance in-line photometric analyzers for industrial liquid and gas-processing applications.

Worldwide, optek is comprised of three main operations located in Germany, The United States and The Netherlands. In more than 25 countries, our customers are supported by an expansive network of regional offices, local distributors and sales representatives.
