Gillware Incorporated is divided between two complementary companies: Gillware Data Recovery and Gillware Online Backup. Our data recovery company was founded in 2004 by brothers Brian and Tyler Gill after Tyler was unable to find an affordable data recovery option for his failed hard drive. Since then, the company has grown to perform over 15,000 data recoveries each year on a variety of failed storage devices from USB flash drives to large servers. Our strategic partnerships with leading technology companies such as Dell and Western Digital, along with our best-in-class team of engineers and computer scientists, allow us to stay on the cutting edge of the data recovery industry.

In 2006, the company spun off the online backup branch of our business. Our cloud-based data backup solution allows users to store their data safely and securely so they can access it in the event of a hard drive failure or other data loss event. Together, our two businesses offer solutions for our customers who have lost their data, and who want to keep it safe from future data loss.
