In 2002, we opened new classrooms for 2 and 3 year old children, incorporating a “Stepping Stones” program to prepare them for 4-year old Preschool. Small class size and consistency in Staff are the highpoints of this program.

 

Our Center was remodeled in 2007 to incorporate Infant and Toddler rooms. The rooms are primarily one Teacher classrooms with a limit of 4 children guided by our loving, caring Staff. We have a separate sleeping room for infant and toddlers as well.

 

We are now a full-service facility offering care and learning for all ages; full summer program for school-agers in the summer and days off school, transportation to all area schools in Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Sussex and Lannon.

 

In the fall of 2008, we started an after school program at Friess Lake School in Hubertis, WI. This program offers the convenience of care and supervision right at the children’s School. Daily activities, games, projects, Homework time and outdoor time are offered.

 

R.E.A.L. K.I.D.S. serves only homemade food for our hot lunch program. We cook with whole grains and use only low fat dairy products and low-sugar snack items. Our meals are “kid-friendly” and we plan our menus in accordance with ideas from the children. Processed foods are very rarely used; only whole wheat bread and whole grain pasta are purchased for our meals. Snacks consist of fresh fruit and vegetables which we purchase from local farmer’s markets, when possible. We limit sweet juices and provide milk and water in abundance.

 

OUR STAFF:

As caregivers we have a very important role in the growth and development of the children in our care. We take our position as role models very seriously as we guide the children’s emotional, social and behavioral growth. The welfare and safety of the children is foremost as we strive to make our Center a safe and happy place.

 

All of our Staff has the required State qualifying courses for Lead Teachers. We are all trained in CPR, First Aid, SIDS, and Shaken Baby Syndrome. Many outside trainings are obtained by our Staff to refresh and stimulate their dedication to teaching children.
