CLS Oakwood Construction, LLC is a fully insured locally owned family business in the Lake Country area. We are a professional full service General Contractor that has provided quality work and excellent customer service since 1998.   Along with being a General Contractor, we have our own rough carpentry crew that has a reputation for high quality work in the area.

Who will you be dealing with?

Craig Samanske- Craig is the owner of CLS Oakwood Construction, LLC.  Craig is from Sussex, WI and graduated from Hamilton High School.  From there he went on to join the US Navy and served in the Gulf War.  When he came back from the US Navy, he began to work for MLF Enterprises as a rough carpenter in 1993.   From there, he obtained employment as a rough carpenter for Netteshiem Builders until 1988.  With the boom in home building at the time, Craig and his wife Lisa decided to start their own rough carpentry business and called is CLS Oakwood Construction, LLC.  (Of course the CLS stands for Craig and Lisa Samanske in case you were wondering.)   Through time, experience, happy customers and projects then added General Contracting to the mix.

Lisa Samanske- Lisa is owner and office manager of CLS Oakwood Construction, LLC.  Lisa is from Waukesha, WI and graduated from Waukesha South High School.  She went onto college and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UW-Whitewater. Through the years her work experience consists of being a teacher, working in customer service, and being a Human Resource Manager.  Those work experiences have given her a huge advantage when it comes to listening to the needs and wants of customers, as well as being able to be creative when it comes to problems solving.

Since the start of CLS Oakwood Construction, we have done many projects over the years consisting of building multi-family units, new construction homes, commercial projects, garages, decks, gazebos, remodels, basketball courts, and our own spec homes.

Through the years we have also provided rough carpentry services to well known and respected area builders such as: Badger Homes, Demlang Builders, Aspen Homes, Allen Builders, Zach Builders, along with other independent developers and individual customers.

We pride ourselves in being able to really listen to our customer’s and their needs.   While at the same time, we are able to provide them with a high quality project within their budget, and no surprises.  As an experienced and licensed contractor, we look forward to helping make your next project a reality!
