VAB Metrology was incorporated in 2003 with Vince Boens residing as President. Coordinate metrology is the core compentancy with VAB Metrology providing consulting and inspection part programming services. Currently, there are approximately 10 employees dedicated to full-time employment providing programming services and consulting support. Contract measurement services may also be arranged. Our western Illinois company has been adding resources and have employment opportunities available. 

VAB Metrology is actively seeking DMIS programmers.

Applicants should be knowledgeable of coordinate measurement machines, have an understanding of different probing methodologies, and a skill base in:

• GD&T as par ASME Y14.5
• Precision metrology mechanics to include temperature variations and vibration
• DMIS (Dimensional Measurement Interface Standard), the ISO standard
