Company Overview
The current state of healthcare demands that nurses play a leading role in identifying and implementing cardiovascular risk reduction strategies. PCNA is committed to educating and supporting nurses so that they may successfully rise to this challenge. About Us: PCNA is the leading nursing organization dedicated to preventing cardiovascular disease (CVD) through assessing risk, facilitating lifestyle changes, and guiding individuals to achieve treatment goals.

This is accomplished through the integration of public and professional education and advocacy, which includes:

  • Hosting an active website with over 30 online CE programs
  • Distributing a monthly e-newsletter with late breaking news

  • Conducting research and publishing articles in relevant journals
  • Speaking at national and international cardiology conferences
  • Developing printed and downloadable clinical tools and patient-education materials
  • Collaborating with industry partners and other healthcare organizations on educational and advocacy initiatives
Organizational Reach: PCNA is able to reach far beyond its membership to provide educational programs and materials to over 26 healthcare organizations. Our educational products and public health awareness campaigns have been distributed to over 350,000 healthcare providers and over 2,000,000 patients.
