History

MICROBRUSH® INTERNATIONAL was established in 1993 by co-owners Phillip Mark and Gunnar Wallin. The company, best known for its namesake brand- the Microbrush® Brand micro-applicator, now has manufacturing in Ireland and USA and is sold through dealers worldwide.

Amidst changing techniques and materials in the dental industry, MICROBRUSH® INTERNATIONAL places a strong emphasis on Research & Development. Through its R&D efforts the company has launched two additional brands, Ultrabrush® bristle applicators and Flowthru™ syringe tips; and its products are included in many Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) kits. In general, product development focuses on saving time or money and removing variability in procedures, which are technique sensitive. Evaluation of every detail in a product’s design and development is done in consultation with leading OEM’s and individual dentists to make certain no detail has been overlooked. As the dental industry is a dynamic market, MICROBRUSH® INTERNATIONAL continues to evolve to ensure user satisfaction and procedural success with every application.

Such success comes through proper design as well as high quality standards. In early 2002 MICROBRUSH® INTERNATIONAL was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification in both its Irish and USA manufacturing facilities. The company has also won many awards for its high quality products including, the REALITY Choice for both its Microbrush Brand and Ultrabrush. In addition to the REALITY Choice award the Microbrush Brand received the Dental Advisor’s highest ranking and the Townie Choice Award.
