Our History

American Job Shop was setup right from the start to service the stationary engine and compression market producing larger high precision pins at volumes lower than would be produced efficiently by automotive class suppliers and at quality and delivery levels too difficult for most job shops.
 

We have obtained and maintained business by exceeding customer expectations in all areas. Through our specialization, we have been able to refine our process for efficiencies beyond accepted standards, defeating offshore sourcing with price and quality, while maintaining a 100% on time delivery record throughout the year 2011. For the second consecutive year we have been able to proactively offer all our customers significant cost reductions through volume and efficiency increases.
 

Our Advantage

Our competitive advantage is reflected in the strictest of markets requiring 100% inspection of tight dimensional tolerances and critical finishes. Every pin leaving our facility is final inspected and engraved with an individual serial number traceable to US manufactured steel certifications, heat treatment charts and certifications, and even the individual gauge certifications used to perform final inspection.
 

The management of our customer stocking practice allows us to buy material in large volumes and control costs with our sub suppliers. We maintain the lowest possible overhead through US in-source of noncritical process to keep our pricing low.
