Application Requirements & Process  This Administrative Fellowship will primarily work on-site at a Aurora Health Care location in the Milwaukee area. The program will run from 6/9/2025 – June 2026.Important Dates: 

  • April 15, 2024: Applications will be live on the ACHE and Advocate Health career sites
  • September 9, 2024: Application Deadline 
  • End of September 2024: Video Interviews 
  • Early October 2024: On-site/Final Interviews 
  • Early/Mid-October 2024: Offers Extended 
  • June 9, 2025: Program Start Date

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manages diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and is expected to make meaningful contributions to the progress and work product of these initiatives and meet project sponsor’s needs. Becomes part of the work unit team to carry out assigned work within the rotation. Identifies and uses internal and external support resources to accomplish work goals. Offers information and perspectives regarding current trends and issues to stimulate new ideas and thinking.
  • Builds a broad range of healthcare management skills. Works effectively with physicians, administrative colleagues and allied health staff to promote the team concept of medicine at Aurora. Directs or leads the work of others in a work group or task force. Contributes to committee work that is related to rotation assignment.
  • Describes and integrates the functions and relationships of the following in support of Aurora's vision: practice, education and research; inpatient and outpatient settings; physicians, administrators and other allied health staff; hiring, training, retaining and terminating employees; costs, charges, revenue, providers and payors.
  • Seeks ways to continuously improve processes and outcomes and provide exceptional patient care. Studies and applies improvement methodologies including data collection and analysis, group facilitation and implementation strategies.
  • Meets with the leadership on a regular basis to discuss fellowship and to report on progress of current projects.
  • Participates in the systems strategic planning process.
  • Assists in development of other programs and services as assigned.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Applicants must be a recent graduate within one year prior to the start of the fellowship (June 9, 2025) or fulfilling a one-year fellowship graduation requirement. 

Experience Required:

  • No experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Eligible applicants are graduates from a Master’s-level program or those fulfilling a fellowship requirement as a part of their graduate program in healthcare administration, business administration or public health from a nationally accredited program and institution of higher learning. 
  • Must possess skills, aptitude and interest in attaining executive level within the health care field.
